Achieving Goals Through Relationships & Reputation

Dave Findlay is a high performer and high achiever and is recognized as an acclaimed leader in the Canterbury Real Estate Industry.

Born and raised in a small rural Southland township, Dave spent 19 years chasing his goals in Athletics middle and distance running events. He won many Southland, Canterbury, NZ titles and International events representing NZ. A 4-minute flat miler to records in 1/2 marathons his athletics took him around the globe and he eventually settled in Canterbury.

In 1996 Dave transferred his passion from Athletics to Real Estate Sales. He has never looked back and has built up an invaluable reputation. Taking time to really get to know his clients and attending to their needs is primary to Dave enabling him to provide tailored guidance throughout the selling process. Harcourts Holmwood have access to the Industry’s most advanced technology with resources and tools that are second to none.

Most of Dave’s business comes from his extensive database, referrals and recommendations from past clients. Dave is trusted by banks and financial institutions to carry out the recovery work in the mortgagee sales business. He also runs seminars for first home buyers in conjunction with lawyers and banks helping people achieve their goal of owning their first home. He assists first home investors through mentoring and setting goals to long term financial freedom through property investment. Dave thrives on putting something back into the industry from being an Investor himself.

He is comfortable at all ends of the market, first home buyers/sellers through to top end houses or being involved in selling subdivisions, project housing/apartments and ‘as is, where is’ damaged homes.

Dave’s achievements are the result of great work ethics, passion and delivering the client a successful outcome.
