“Helping people move on with their lives is the most rewarding part of the job!

Getting the Job Done!

Martin Sutton is a self-starter who has realised success in a number of business endeavours (primarily involving scuba diving, photography and video) around the world. Martin understands what it takes to get the job done and is passionate about achieving life changing outcomes for those he works for.

A believer that knowledge is power, Martin has a natural way of making clients feel comfortable and educated in their decisions, empowering them with the information and data they need to make an informed decision, and believes that honesty and responsiveness are the key areas of his relationships with his clients.

Martin brings a strong background in marketing, photography and video production which enhances the presentation of client’s properties and this, combined with excellent communication skills, both with clients and buyers, has led to awesome results in his eight year real estate career. Martin recorded the highest residential sale price for 2019* with the sale of the revered Kate Sheppard House on Clyde Road, sold for $4,500,000 with an under-offer of $4,400,000. As well as having sold millions of dollars’ worth of Christchurch property, Martin has sold everything from Canterbury sections to baches on Banks Peninsula, a country estate in Mackenzie Country and even a mansion in Timaru. Amongst Martin’s fondest memories are vendors who unsuccessfully tried other agencies with their ‘one-size-fits-all’ marketing systems, and then sold with Martin and his renowned ‘Individual Marketing Method,’ which allows him to accurately pinpoint the ‘right-buyer’ demographic for each property he lists and sells.

As Martin says, “Selling a home is a process, but one that not many people have a lot of experience with. It is therefore vital that I can simply explain the necessary steps and guide my clients to a successful conclusion. Seeing someone be able to move onto the next step in their life due to my efforts is the most rewarding part of the job”.

When not immersed in real estate Martin is an avid home chef, unfulfilled guitarist and, along with wife Laurie, a fanatical pub quizzer!

“We’re very glad to have chosen you to handle the sale of our home and were very impressed with the professionalism you displayed. Our lawyer said it was one of the smoothest sales she’s ever dealt with!”  Gerry & Helen Constable
